Very disappointing service and food. Great decor though.

When the highlight of the night is the toothpick as you leave the place, then there isn't many positive comments to give. First, having to wear sunglasses in the restaurant in order to see is not a good way to make it a welcoming and comfortable for the patrons. The sun light beamed right in to our dining area and there was nothing they could do about it. The fried calamari was by far the worst appetizer I have order in a long time. The breading was soggy and we had to ask the waitress for some marinara sauce to add some flavor to it. My wife had their version of Mac and Cheese (McCORMICK AND CHEESE) and I had their ITALIAN SAUSAGE FETTUCCINE. The mac and cheese tasted as though it came out of a box, in fact my wife would had preferred to have had some Kraft Cheese and Mac than the dish she had ordered. My dish wasn't too far from that, and based on the use of Italian Sausage that you would find from a boxed pizza, I suspect my dish could have started the same way.

Recommended by hotel, glad I tried it. Food was amazing, service was wonderful. Will keep on my list to return when in the area. Highly recommend!

My husband and I went here after a Packer game and thought it would have been much more busy. We were able to get a table right away. Our waitress was very friendly and brought us our drinks out right away. We both had a Greek salad which was very good. We also liked the bread with their signature dipping oil. For my main dish I had the Sun-dried tomato pesto and my husband had the Italian sausage fettuccine. They were both just OK. Nothing great about them. I love Italian so it was a disappointment for the main meal to be just OK. I don't' think we will be going back next time we are in Green Bay.

Macaroni and cheese pizza!! It will change your life. It's not on the menu, but if you ask nicely they will make it for you. I promise you it is worth every single calorie!

Grazie's is hard to beat in my opinion. I enjoy the atmosphere as well as the food! Everything I have tried is good! I love their dipping sauce and bread!! Pasta dishes there are superb, as well as their Paninis.

First impression was the kitchen was open and it had a great inviting decor. The pasta is fantastic, it tastes homemade and the sauces they use let the delicate taste of the pasta really come out. The service was fast and very courteous, I will be back many times in the future.

Pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a knock off of Olive Garden, but was pleasantly surprised at how good this was. I sat at the bar and the waitress wasn't overly friendly, but she was attentive and efficient. I ordered the seared tuna with blue cheese risotto and couldn't believe how good it was. The risotto was rich and savory while the tuna was perfectly seared while still raw in the middle. I had a glass of house Cabernet which was a bit sweet, but for $3 I couldn't complain!

My husband and I were looking for a place to stop in and try something new to use so we decided to stop in at Grazies. Service was good and we were seated immediately. Overall you will find the standard Italian dishes on the menu. They have daily drink specials so check the board behind the bar. The server was very helpful and answered all of our questions. The cheese curds were awesome. We also tried a flatbread, chicken Marsala, and chicken cannelloni. They also brought bread to the table with a spicy oil for dipping. Overall the meal was good. He marsala was very heavy on the garlic and could've used more mushrooms. Visually the desserts looked appealing but we didn't try any of them.

My experience at Grazies left me with a lot of unanswered questions. 1. Why does the olive oil with the free bread burn my throat? 2. Why is my grilled chicken so cold when it's obviously the only food that has been ordered in the last hour? 3. Why is that sani-bucket that's being used to clean the chalkboard sloshing around on the counter next to my food? 4. Why are the employees bickering in front of me? 5. Why am I the only person in this restaurant? Actually, I think I know the answer to number 5.

Always excellent food here. Very good atmosphere and very good service. All freshly made food. Highly recommend spicy garlic pasta and tequila lime pasta. If you're daring, order the Mediterranean. I live in Indiana and get excited when I know I get to stop in here.

Stopped by with my wife and some co-workers as we had time between conference activities. We were concerned about how busy the place might be on a Tuesday night at 5:00, but we were seated right away. First thing that happened, we were seated at a table where the sun shone directly into my eyes. And there were no blinds. Within a few seconds, my eyes were so dazzled that all I could see were blue dots. Fortunately, I didn't need to be able to see in order to eat my food, and it was tremendous. We all ordered something different and we all thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered (a rarity). The service was excellent so that just added to the experience. The only reason that I downticked their score was the sunlight problem. Seriously, how difficult is it to buy some blinds, or put some polarized filters on the windows, or even hang up a bedsheet or something?

The scene: First time bringing b/f to Wisconsin to meet the parents. He'd never been to Wisc. before so wanted to make an impression. Somehow we ended up at Grazies. Had to wait a few minutes for a table, but b/f got us a round of drinks from the bar while we waited (good call on getting the parents a little buzzed!) Service: Hostess said our server (Rachel?) was new so we should give her a hard time. Being from New York, it wasn't hard to bust her chops, but she was a trooper and hung in there. She was very good, helped with recommendations and got an answer to a question my dad had on changes to the meat sauce. Food: For an appetizer, had the fried cheese curds...lightly fried to a golden brown with just the right amount of salty and sweet. This was a new experience for the b/f and he was smitten. The dipping oil they give with the bread is kind of spicy and it's deliciously addictive! He and I got pasta and dad got lasagna. Step mom ordered something I can't remember. Regardless, we liked it. Dad didn't complain about the lasagna and my Italian sausage fettuccine was great. Love the sweet Italian sausage they used. B/f liked his pasta lot as well. We had the small portions and those were plenty! We had dessert...a very chocolatey cake which was molto yummy, as they say in Florence. Dad had two scoops of vanilla (he's a wild one!) and step-mom had the creme brulee. Prices were reasonable, esp, since we had a lot of drinks, food and dessert. The 'rents left the restaurant thinking the b/f is the greatest thing in the world. Mission accomplished--great dinner and stamp of approval from the family.

Service was good. I had the half basil pesto chicken pasta. The side salad that comes out is literally 3 bites. What's the point? Pasta lacked any flavor and the sauce was DROWNING my pasta. Chicken was burnt but they probably figured I wouldn't notice because they put 10 pounds of sauce in my bowl! Won't be back

Grazies? More like I probably won't be backzies. I come in and the dude makes me and my girl wait for twenty minutes for a table when there are clearly many tables open. The bread that they give you tastes like vaporub and the "dipping oil" looks like diarrhea. The food here is incredibly over priced you could get the same thing anywhere else for less. The table was dirty. My chocolate overload cake was visually unappealing, not to mention overpriced too. The silverware looks old. The server was creeping on me and my girl the whole time too. You could probably go to fazzoli's and get a better experience. It's a no from me.

One of my favorite places in Green Bay! Good service, great food. They provide table bread and olive oil, and I always love coming here!

We ate here as we were in a motel in the area and it was an excellent choice. The clam chowder was delicious. I was hesitant to share it, but I actually left my husband have a few bites. The seafood cannaloni was to die for. Had the smaller portion but it was plenty. Will definitely return when in Green Bay again!!!

A most pleasant surprise! On business trip and Grazies looked to be a non-national chain alternative on the strip! Nicely done salmon on Caesar salad tossed very lightly with dressing. Screams of romaine drowning detract from enjoying a healthy meal. Good vino selection and a management crew that nicely checks in. Nicely done!

Great service. Solid italian food with mucho garlic in doing oil! I had basil pesto and pasta was perfectly cooked . All three of us finished our dishes and would certainly return!

My dad and I went to a Packers game (where we stomped the Titans) and decided to grab dinner here and thaw out while traffic cleared out after the game. The food was SO good and the service was fantastic. I think our server was Natalie. She was attentive and friendly. They had a special Moscato wine available that was absolutely delicious. The cheese curds and the gnocchi dinner I had were both to die for. My dad enjoyed his meal as well. It was a little pricey, but very much worth it. I would definitely return if I lived nearby.

Wife and I ate here a couple times during our recent visit to GB. Service is good. Food is ok. The pizza was pretty good. Avoid the gnocchi it was very heavy not light like you would expect. Mac and cheese was above average. They have different drink specials daily. Good wine selection. I recommend the Mellini Chianti. Their house Merlot is a little on the sweet side. Wife liked their house Pinot Grigio

Service is HORRIBLE. I have never been ignored more than at this place. You can't get a table, can't get a drink at the bar, can't get anything from your server. I have eaten here many times (always with other people, I have politely went along), and the service is consistently bad. I have waited over an hour for a table, when the restaurant has been literally half empty. Nothing is more insulting than having to wait that long for a table when you are looking right at a dozen empty tables. Never again!

First time in Green Bay. Used Yelp to find a place to eat that wasn't a chain. This was a winner - food great, great price for quality, excellent selection and attentive service. Seared Tuna with risotto, amply portion, excellent risotto.

We went to this restaurant because our hotel had given us a discount coupon. We asked for a table and were told that there was a 20-25 minute wait, even though there were four or five tables that looked to be open. They made up for in by seating us within about five minutes. Alex was our server that night and he was very nice and accomodating. He recommended the Seafood Cannelloni and it was excellent! My wife had the McCormick and Cheese pasta-filled bread bowl (essentially mac-n-cheese in a pizza-crusty type of bread bowl). She wasn't overly impressed with it, but I took a bite or two and it was good to me. Very generous helpings of everything. If we're ever in town again, we'd go back to sample the other offerings!

We had cheese curds, and I had the Thai Ginger. I immediately asked about the curds and they said they were not the normal frozen crap ones. She was right they were better than average. My Thai ginger was perfect. The sauce was not over peanutty, not overly gingery, and not overly salty. Most places seem to miss the mark by going too much towards one if those. Grazies blends it so well. There is enough sauce to cover everything and a healthy amount of chicken. It was damn good. The only minus so to speak was the free bread and oil they bring out. The bread was pretty stale. Would eat here again.

Had a half order of seafood cannelloni. It was very good. The olive oil with bed was good as well.

Delicious from start to finish. Bread with oil was great. Really good cheese curds. Then had the veggie pizza which was awesome. Service was spot on. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Went for a business lunch. Service was great (Emily). Never had to em wait for a drink. Table bread was just okay...kind of crumbly, little but stale. The olive oil was okay. Great cream of chicken and rice soup! Fav part of the lunch. I had a buffalo chicken wrap. The sauce was a bit too mild for my liking but the chicken was okay.

Stopped in on a Saturday evening with my 2 kids and girlfriend. The service was really nice and friendly and they make you feel right at home. Especially giving kids dough to play with. (Suggest no dough if you dont want to get full of flour) The free bread was lacking flavor. Olive oil dip was 3 out of 5 stars for flavor, unless you love olive oil. The cheesecurds are freshly made and taste great then most places. 5 of 5 stars Ordered the Seafood Cannelloni, had no clue what I ordered but for a seafood lover (bay scallops, shrimp, & crab meat) was very dissapointed. Very little seafood. But overall, didn't like it as much too. 2 of 5 stars Also the Seafood Pescatore, no idea what it was too and being a seafood lover, very disappointed. Had a huge chunk of onion outer skin in it. Very drenched in sauce so it soaked up all the seafood flavor and just overly sauced. The scallops were cooked perfectly. Took a bite of the huge shrimps and all you can taste is sink water throughout chewing it and swallowing it down. Even with the drenched sauce. 1 of 5 stars The chocolate cake was great for desert. Do prefer it warm. 4 of 5 stars Will probably not go again. Hope this helps.

It was my wife's birthday, so we went here. Good food. Portions were a little too much. The prices are higher but we both had lunch for the next day.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
